Queene and Belle created a selection of handmade bespoke Christmas decorations for the Baycrews L’Appartement store in Japan.
The set included grosgrain ribbon hand-stitched to make christmas bunting.
Vintage pieces of chandelier glass combined with ribbon and twisted wire to create smoked-glass baubles.
Read about it on the L’Appartement Deuxieme Class Blog
Queene and Belle were at the London and Paris Fashion Show Weeks as usual this year.
As well as spending time with clients and showing the new collections for the following season, there was a little time to wander around the streets of Paris and discover some inspiring window displays.

These were taken of a lovely bookstore on the Rue de Rivoli in Paris. The bags in the window were made from vintage wrapping paper.
In London, we show our collection from the Haymarket Hotel. This is a lovely venue and a great space to work from, as you can see from the photos.
An eclectic mix of inspiring things.

Blessed with a gloriously sunny day on the Isle of Skye, Queene & Belle put the icing on the cake for the perfect Highland Croft Wedding with a beautifully customised vintage dress. Working her magic Queene & Belle owner and Head Designer Angela transformed a delicate silk tulle shift from the 1930‘s into a unique piece, by embellishing it with beads and antique lace trim. Worn over a silk slip with grosgrain straps and a matching cashmere wrap – it was the perfect outfit for a very special day.
If you have your own special occasion coming up don’t hesitate to contact Queene & Belle.

As we look forward to the summer, wedding season and of course THE Royal Weddings for both William & Kate and Zara & Mike in England and Scotland, it wouldn’t be proper for Queene and Belle to be without a vintage inspired option for what to wear.

The dress shown above is a fine cotton dress with floral embroidered panels, beaded belt and detachable petrol coloured feather trim, inspired by victoriana and ‘picnic at hanging rock’.
Luckily the dress is available to buy, limited to 5 items worldwide at a special price of £335 and will soon be available to purchase from our online shop, amongst other unique pieces. In the meantime if you are interested in this dress please get in touch.
Queene and Belle celebrated their 10th Anniversary at the end of 2010 in a pre Christmas collaboration with Matches.
Matches, Ledbury Road, London and Matches, Wimbledon jointly held their first unique Queene and Belle POP-UP Shop.
Featuring customised vintage pieces normally only available in Japan alongside some re-issued classics from Angela’s favourite pieces over the past 10 years.
Matches served up a lovely afternoon with delicious tea and cake – a typically English showcase for a modern, British brand.
